At the exhilarating AFC Asian Cup, we activated our advanced Moving Graphics immersion experience for the tournament’s electrified fans. We distributed 80,000 of our ultrabright LED Badges to each member of the crowd at the stunning AFC opening ceremony; transforming the audience into an electric canvas of light and animated graphics that expanded the show’s design and themes into the crowd itself.

Our MVT Controller technology was used to illuminate the LED badges worn by fans, flooding the stadium with light, color, and fan-favorite motion graphics that danced across the roaring crowd. Involving 24 national teams and earning record-breaking attendance and viewership, the Asian Cup and organizers, the Asian Football Confederation, are well known for giving spectators an unparalleled fan experience. Our infrared LED Badges served as the perfect vehicle to achieve the larger than life vision of turning the AFC crowd into a human TV screen.

By integrating our wearable products with our advanced effect MVT controllers, we were able to create an immersive experience that seamlessly blended with the event’s design, performance, and storytelling style. Our LED Badges ignited in synchronized effects throughout the game and performances, including a heart-pounding countdown that ticked down on the crowd itself.

In another epic fan moment, the LED wearables illuminated to form a bird that flew across the entire stadium audience in harmony with the storyline. Other mesmerizing moments included when projecting words flowed across the crowd and over the stands, immersing fans in the action and drawing spirited engagement even in off-game moments. It was truly a thrill to see this innovative, fan-focused event in action, and we were honoured to have been part of what was a legendary evening for sports fans worldwide.
