As proud Montrealers, PixMob was honored to collaborate with our local AHL team, Rocket de Laval, for their electrifying home opener. We brought the "wow" factor to their loyal fans with our Radio Frequency LED Waveband wristbands, lighting up the crowd in team spirit - and signature Rocket red & blue - to connect them to the action all game long.

Fan Frenzy in a Flash

Our collab went far beyond an immersive light show (although tbh the light show was really cool). The activation started with a sizzle, with wristbands igniting in pulsating effects at the start of the much-awaited hockey match, sending the crowd into frenzy as the game began. But that was just the beginning.

QR Codes for the Win

To deliver the full-game engagement the Rockets wanted for their fans, we integrated a dynamic QR code into their customized wristband strap. This created a seamless gateway to exclusive contests run throughout the game. In the first two quarters, fans scanned to win VIP tickets to an upcoming match. In the third, the code seamlessly directed fans to an exciting sponsorship unveiling with Bell.

These immersive and interactive experiences added an entirely new dimension of engagement to the sporting event, driving crowd interaction and creating a truly fan-favorite atmosphere.
